Ron Friedman is an American television writer.

Friedman produced the original screenplay for The Transformers: The Movie, but the script he turned in was judged "incoherent" by writer/story editor Flint Dille and creative director Jay Bacal.[1] Although Dille was subsequently responsible for spearheading the heavy rewriting of the script (beginning with "The Secret of Cybertron"), Friedman had previously negotiated to receive sole credit as writer, and Dille is only credited as "story consultant" (although his credit actually precedes Friedman's onscreen). A similar situation arose in the production of the G.I. Joe movie, which was predominantly penned by "story consultant" Buzz Dixon, but again, credited solely to Friedman.

Did you ever watch the first season of the '90s Iron Man or Fantastic Four show?

He wrote that.

Yeah.
