Galaxy Force (manga)

The Galaxy Force manga, written and drawn by Yoshihiro Iwamoto, ran for nine issues from February 2005 to October 2005 in the pages of Comic Bom Bom when Galaxy Force was on air. The first six issues of the manga were collected in a graphic novel along with a whimsical "Mission 0" which acted as a "making of" extra.

However, by the time Iwamoto received news that the manga was going to end from the editorial staff, much of the pre-publishing work for the first volume was already done, thus leaving out the last three chapters,^[1] before Comic Bom Bom's cancellation in July of 2007.^[2] In short, the Galaxy Force manga was never completed and the last three chapters were never collected, making them somewhat rare amongst Japanese collectors and even rarer amongst Western ones.

The "Mission #" headers and the actual chapter titles were absent from the original Comic Bom Bom printings and retroactively added to the graphic novel collection. Because Missions 7-9 were never collected, they lack chapter titles. For the purposes of this wiki, the articles have been titled "Galaxy Force Mission 7-9".
